Lake Pend Orielle Sports and Recreation: Our beautiful lake is home to many types of activities.
"When visiting Sandpoint, make it a point to rent a boat and discover why so many people have fallen in love with the area. If you're uncomfortable navigating on unknown waters, take a fishing charter or a scenic cruise. If you do decide to take a fishing charter, make sure you get plenty of rest prior to departure, as this lake offers trophy rainbow trout that will challenge your skill as well as your endurance."

The Panida Theater: The Panida is the cornerstone of cultural activities for the entire Sandpoint community, and its successful restoration has inspired similar projects throughout the region.
"Its easy to see - and hear - why the Panida is so treasured by Sandpoint. There's truly not a bad seat in the house that can hold 550. And its acoustic perfection makes the Panida a delight for performers and audience-goers alike. From intimate recital to Broadway-size musical, it's an ideal venue. That's why so many touring troupes go out of their way to book the Panida, bringing entertainment to Sandpoint that would otherwise be availabie no closer than Spokane."
